Day 4 and still very nice weather in London, however it's getting colder in the morning. Just as the other 3 days I start my day with an English breakfast. Today I am discussing how to manage a Microsoft CRM implementation. It's very useful to see how my English colleagues are doing a project. We will also discuss my planning for the rest of the weeks here.

Hyves Vs. Facebook
Today I heard of colleagues in London that Microsoft wants to take over Facebook. I have no idea what Facebook was, but it's the same as Hyves in the Netherlands. So please check out Facebook also if you want to connect with people all over the world. The question now is: will Microsoft take over Hyves also???

Day 3 in London. Start the day with an English breakfast. Getting used to this hmmm. It's a 15 minutes walk from my hotel to the office. I'm still not used to the idea to look right when crossing over the street. It's funny to see all trafic on the left side of the road.
Today I had to review the hour calculations of my English colleagues. Furthermore I had a short meeting with the CRM Practice Manager of Atos Origin UK.
In the evening I went first to Piccadilly Circus. is a famous traffic intersection and public space of London's West End the City of Westminster. The Circus is particularly known for its video display and neon signs mounted on the corner building on the northern side, as well as the Shaftesbury memorial fountain and statue known as 'Eros' . After that I went to Harrod. Ladies, this is really a Whahalla for all the shopping fanatics, so men be warned and leave your creditcard at home. Of course I will post my pictures asap.

Day 2 in London. Just had some breakfast and of course English Breakfast, so bacon and eggs. Yesterday the weather was very nice, sunshine and 21 degrees, but today: RAIN. So I will take a taxi to the Office. I will post my stories later on.
Lunch time and the weather in London is very nice at the moment. I'm going to work on 2 Microsoft CRM project, one international project and one project for the largest charity organization in the UK. So today I have a lot of meetings and conference calls and a lot te read.
In the evening I went to the center of London to see the British Airways London Eye, Houses of Parliament, of course the Big Ben and finally I went to Buckingham Palace. A colleague of mine said that I had to buy an Oyster Card for the underground, very cheap.
At nine o' clock I was back at the hotel and ordered some diner. I had to try the fish and chips, one word: delicious.
I will post my pictures asap when I have a faster connection to the internet then at my hotel.

Hello,
Here is my first message from London City. Yesterday was a very busy day for me. I had some private appointments early in the morning and of course I had to help my wife with cleaning the house, otherwise she had to do this alone next week. I was able to check in on the internetsite of KLM. My plane took of from Amsterdam (Schiphol) at 17:20h, so boarding at 16:30h. I landed on Heathrow Airport at 17:10h (Local time). The taxi was arranged for me so after an hour driving (what a trafic jams on sunday!!!) I arrived at the Ibis Hotel London Euston St Pancras. Unpack my suitcase, phone with my wife:) and after that I decided to search for the Atos Origin building in the center of London. After a 30 minutes walk I finally found the buidling. I will post my pictures of the first day ASAP.

Last saturday I went "Wadlopen" with my wife's work (SSCO). The route was from Holwerd (Friesland) to Ameland (one of the five islands of the Netherlands). The total distance is about 10 kilometre and it takes about 3 hours to walk this. The weather was a little bit cold with a strong wind (4Bf). We had to take 2 gutters. Please check the internetsite for information and pictures, http://www.wadgids.nl/.

Prison Break 1 & 2 Paperbacks Review
Just for my vacation I started reading Prison Break season 1. During my holiday I finished part 1 and of course part 2. I must say that these are by far the best books I have read. I haven't seen season 1 on tv, so it was very exiting for me to read. The storie of these two books in general:
Lincoln Burrows is currently on death row and scheduled to die in a few months for an assassination his younger brother Michael is convinced he did not commit. With no other options and time winding down, Michael takes drastic measures to get himself incarcerated alongside his brother in Fox River State Penitentiary. Once he's inside, Michael - a structural engineer with the blueprints for the prison - begins to execute an elaborate plan to break Lincoln out and prove him innocent. When Michael arrives at Fox River State Penitentiary, he meets the prison denizens who will, unknowingly, help in his escape plans - his cellmate, the lovelorn Sucre; beautiful prison doctor Dr. Sara Tancredi, who happens to be the governor's daughter; former mob boss John Abruzzi; and Warden Henry Pope. Meanwhile, outside the prison walls, the brothers' childhood friend and Lincoln's lost love, attorney Veronica Donovan, works within the law to free them; Lincoln's teenage son LJ may be going down a path similar to his convicted father's; and Secret Service Agent Paul Kellerman's investigation into Lincoln's case proves that there may be a national conspiracy in the "Pilot" and "Allen" episodes of the PRISON BREAK series premiere.
So I can recommend these books to all the Prison Break Fanatics, ENJOY!!! I'm looking forward to the books of season 2.
