Hieronder nog wat foto's bij de Librije.

En natuurlijk hoort er bij een huwelijksaanzoek een ring. Mijn oog was gevallen op een ontwerp van Vincent van Hees, zie hieronder en gelukkig is Nicole er helemaal weg van :).

11-11-2010 Nicole ten huwelijk gevraagd

Afgelopen donderdag was het zo ver....11 november 2010 waren Nicole en ik 10 jaar bij elkaar. Hiervoor had ik een lunch bij de Librije in Zwolle geregeld. Wat Nicole niet wist is dat ik haar ten huwelijk ging vragen. Die maandag ervoor heb ik eerst mijn schoonvader om de hand van zijn dochter gevraagd en mijn ouders ook ingelicht. Daarna heb ik met Nicole haar werk geregeld dat ze de volgende ochtend later kon beginnen. Nicole had geen idee dat we bij de Librije in Zwolle gingen eten, zij was in de veronderstelling dat we gingen brunchen en naar de sauna. Toen we aankwamen bij de Librije, werd mijn auto snel weggebracht en de koffers naar binnen gebracht wat Nicole niet wist. Ondertussen heb ik alles met de Librije geregeld, eerst een 5 gangen lunch met daarna een rondleiding in de Librije Hotel wat het voormalige gevangenis in Zwolle was. De Vanille Suite werd in gereedheid gebracht, rozen, kaarsjes, bad etc. en de gehele crew van de Librije was op de hoogte. Na een heerlijke lunch van bijna 4 uur met overtreffelijke gerechten en heel veel heerlijke wijn, werder we rondgeleid in de Librije Hotel. Toen de butler zei: "nu we hier toch zijn, kan ik jullie ook wel even 1 van de 3 suites laten zien van dit hotel", liet hij ons binnen en gaf mij de sleutel. Nicole was helemaal onder de indruk van de Vanille Suite en toen ben ik op mijn knieen gegaan en heb ik Nicole ten huwelijk gevraagd. JAAAA!!!!:) en we hebben de rest van de dag romantisch doorgebracht in deze geweldige suite. 's Ochtends hebben we genoten van een super de luze Librije ontbijt. Al met al helemaal top en alle credit naar de service van de Librije.

Curacao 13th August till 28th of August 2010

Finally some time to update my blog so here we go, my last post was from Curacao so I will update the vacation in this post. It was really good to see Judith and Hessel and we also met their housemates Marcella and Jorge (Nicole named him "Gato" by mistake, so we just called him GATO!!:)). Their house was really big, 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large living and kitchen. The location was nearby Zanzibar were we swim and snorkel almost every day. We also visited of course the famous beach of Curacao, Mambo Beach. Furthermore of course the colored houses with the Dutch architecture along Willemstad's harbour. Nicole and I did also swim with dolfins at the Sea Acquarium Beach, that was a fantastic experience, what a feeling to swim with these animals. Judith filmed the hole sessions, so we have the memory on tape. If you want to go shopping you can go to the Riffort in Willemstad. Of course we went diving in Curacao but first I bought a Sealife DC1200 Elite in Willemstad for taking underwater pictures and movies. The underwater world in the Caribean is fantastic we saw seaturtles, barracuda's, water snakes and of course lot's of Nimo's :). I took lots of pictures and movies. I will try to put them on my blog. During our stay we did some trips like "Klein Curacao" with the Mermaid, full moonwalk and going to the top of the Christoffelberg. Is was a fantastic vacation and if I had the change I would go back in a minute. Movies and pictures will be posted soon.

Summer vacation 2010 Hans & Nicole 2 Curacao

Friday the 13th, finally vacation! After an 2 hour delay on Schiphol airport we finally board to Curacao. We left the Netherlands at 11.30h and landed at 16:20 on Hato Airport. The weather pfff warm 32 degrees and yes after waiting for an hour on our luggage: there they were Judith and Hessel, good to see them again. On all my vacations I ordered my first drink: Coca Cola wow that alway tast great. After that we went to there home, okay it is a very large home! 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a large living with a fantastic view. Quickly unpacking our luggage and taking a shower. By the way Nicole loved Sasha and Alfa the 2 dogs :). At the end of the day we went for our first dinner Spagetti Bolognese :) and still no jet leg. We went to bed around 23.00h and woke up at 01.40 yes a new day???? 01.40h is 07.40h in the Netherlands :). So watching 2 episodes of Hero at 05.00h local time and let day 2 begin......

Diving in Groningen

Tomorrow Nicole and I are going to dive in Groningen. First we are going to buy our dive bottles at Kontiki Diving and after that we are going to dive in Groningen. I will take some pictures and post this on my blog, so to be continued....
