2009.04.30 - Thrusday "Black" Queens Day 2009

As you all heared in the news, "Koninginnedag 2009" was ended early due to a attack on the Royal Family. The latest news is that there were 7 people killed and there are still some injured people in the hospital. We were in Utrecht, but it was very quiet. Later that day we went to Giethoorn. I must say It was not a normal day after hearing this terrible news.

Today it's "Koninginnedag". We are going to Utrecht with Hessel & Judith. Of course I will bring my camera with me, so pictures are being taken. Off to bed now.

Forgot to mention:
I'm getting closer to the magic 30 age so my body is also getting older....
I realized that I can see a bit more with glasses, so I went to Pearle for an eye scan. My left eye is -2 and right -1 so they recommend to wear glasses during driving, watching tv and working so ALL DAY!!!. I will take a picture of my new look tomorrow and post is on my blog.

Hans & Nicole and Judith & Hessel in Vienna

Today was my first day at work after our long and fantastic weekend in Vienna. Vienna is a very nice but EXPENSIVE city. I will post a complete travel story in the next comming days and of course I took a few (about 400) pictures:). More details later, so be patient.

Hans & Nicole and Judith & Hessel to Vienna

After 4 hours, my wake up call is ringing and Judith & Hessel are picking us up at 04:00h in the morning. We are flying to Vienna at 07:00h from Schiphol Airport. We are going to visite the city for four days and of course I will take a lot of pictures. More info about Vienna will follow. I'm off to bed now!!!
